Listen to the trailer

Ways to Listen

A frantic 911 call on a quiet April afternoon in 1997 sends Miramar police rushing to a suburban home, where they uncover a scene of pure horror. Inside, two young sisters, just six weeks old and two years old, have been brutally beaten to death. Nearby, their mother and grandmother lie in pools of blood, shot and bludgeoned in a massacre that defies comprehension. Scrawled on the wall near the victims, a cryptic message about drug money suggests a home invasion gone wrong. But as detectives dig deeper, they uncover troubling contradictions and a chilling possibility: this wasn’t random — it was personal. Soon, a prime suspect emerges. But there’s a problem: he has an alibi that has kept this heartbreaking case unsolved for nearly three decades.

Episode 1

Crescent Drive

Nothing could prepare police officers for the scene at the Altidor home on Crescent Drive. Just inside, they find a tiny baby, bloody and cold, in a bassinet. A few steps farther in, the grim reality unfolds: three more family members — one just a toddler — brutally murdered. The horrifying crime shocks the neighborhood and sparks a massive manhunt for the killer behind this quadruple murder.

Episode 2

The American Dream

From a rural mountain village in Haiti to the sun-soaked streets of South Florida, Marie Laverne chases the promise of a better life. A chance encounter with a man from her past, George Altidor, leads to marriage and a picture-perfect family. But beneath the surface, something was not right. In the months leading up to her murder, friends and family noticed unsettling changes in Marie — signs of fear, distress, and secrets she never got the chance to share.

Episode 3

Overkill

As detectives piece together the events of the Altidor murders, they are struck by the brutality and chilling efficiency of the killer. In a matter of seconds, each victim was eliminated. The few clues left behind seem intentionally designed to mislead investigators into thinking the attack was a home invasion. But detectives aren’t so easily fooled and suspect the murders were personal.

Episode 4

Time of Death

Small clues at the crime scene could lead to a breakthrough in the case. The autopsies of Marie, Theresia, Samantha, and Sabrina raise serious questions about George Altidor’s alibi that he was at work at the time of the murders. As detectives close in, George submits to a lie detector test and the shocking results lead to a major shift in the investigation.

Episode 5

The Wall

A chilling message scrawled on a wall of the Altidor home becomes the key clue in the case — not for what it says, but for its secrets that science may be able to unlock. Disturbing details from George’s past begin to surface. Detectives discover a mysterious phone call from inside the Altidor house on the day of the murders that grinds the investigation to a frustrating halt.

Episode 6

George and Florence

Doubts about George Altidor’s alibi can’t stop the case from going cold. But when a young detective reopens the investigation, he uncovers a stunning revelation about George’s new life. As the grieving family of Theresia, Marie, Samantha, and Sabrina pushes for justice, the question remains: Will the truth ever be uncovered?
